ExtendedCare Service

Your Practice and 12 other local practices have collaborated to pilot a new service for patients called ExtendedCare.

From 1 September 2017 this service will provide an extension of your usual GP services outside normal surgery hours:

Mon:    18:30 – 20:00
Tues:   18:30 – 20:00
Wed:    18:30 – 20:00
Thu:     18:30 – 20:00
Fri:       18:30 – 20:00
Sat:      09:00 – 12:30
Sun:     09:00 – 12:30

Christmas 2018 Opening:

Christmas Day 09:-10:30 - Hollyhead Primary Health Care Centre
Boxing Day 09:00 - 10:30 - 2 The Slieve Surgery
New Years Day 09:00 - 10:30 Drs Pal & Jemahl, Newton Road

ExtendedCare is additional to the Out of Hours service you already have access to.

Services provided

Advice on routine medical problems, Advice on minor ailments, Asthma checks, Blood pressure checks, Diabetes checks, Emergency Contraception, Heart health checks, Immunisation advice, Lifestyle advice, Medication Reviews, NHS Health Checks, Smoking Cessation support, Travel advice.

Whilst this is not an “urgent care service” we do offer advice on urgent problems
